Carol Wells
Having been surrounded for years by accomplished writers, both at work and at home, Carol Wells has always played the role of proofreader and editor. Now retired, she's taking the opportunity to do some writing of her own.
Wells holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, and has completed postgraduate coursework in literature and journalism. She worked in the advertising and education fields for many years. She has also done freelance copy writing and layout design for several small businesses.
Her major interests include: Family, health, diet and nutrition, cooking, organic gardening, the environment, education, reading, music, arts, crafts and sewing. She takes the most pleasure in writing articles for children, and hopes that her writing will pique children's curiosity or spark their creativity.
In June 2011, she finished editing Thinblade (Sovereign of the Seven Isles: Book One), a novel of magic and mystery by David A. Wells.
In September 2011, she finished editing Sovereign Stone (Sovereign of the Seven Isles: Book Two), an action-packed fantasy thriller.
In December 2011, she finished editing Mindbender (Sovereign of the Seven Isles: Book Three), another roller-coaster adventure with Alexander and his companions.
